Senior Building Automation Programmer
Konik is a leader in the technical staffing industry, and they are seeking a Senior Building Automation Programmer to support BAS projects from design handoff through commissioning and turnover. The role focuses on programming and engineering, responsible for system architecture, controller programming, integration, commissioning, and customer support.

Responsibilities
Program, test, and commission Siemens DDC building automation systems
Develop and implement control sequences, graphics, alarms, and trend strategies
Integrate BAS systems with VFDs, meters, third-party devices, and networks (BACnet/IP, MS/TP, Modbus)
Partner with Project Managers, electricians, and commissioning agents to deliver projects on time and to specification
Support system validation, functional testing, and owner training
Maintain accurate project documentation and as-built records
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BAS programmers and technicians
Support troubleshooting and optimization of existing customer systems
Qualification
Required
5+ years of BAS programming experience in commercial or industrial environments
Siemens BAS programming experience (Desigo, Apogee, or similar)
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, control theory, and energy optimization
Experience with VFDs, control networks, and system integration
Proficient with laptops and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and across teams
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Preferred
Tridium Niagara (N4) experience or certification strongly preferred
