Sr. Mgr, Commercial Engines Communications (Hybrid)

They are seeking a Senior Manager for Commercial Engines Communications to develop and deliver communication strategies and content, working closely with company leaders to drive business results.

Responsibilities
Report to the Head of Communications for Commercial Engines, serve as the Communications point of contact for Commercial Engines SVP, Operations and as a member of the Commercial Engines Operations/Aftermarket leadership team
Develop and lead an integrated communications plan and cross-functional team to support the organization’s business objectives and employee engagement goals
Track campaign progress and partner with cross-functional colleagues on metrics
Conduct regular business reviews with CE leadership to assess progress and course correct, as necessary
Manage crisis communications, in partnership with Public Relations, for CE Operations/Aftermarket
Prepare communications deliverables, including talking points, key messages, prep packages, social media posts, featured content; speeches, news releases, holding statements, presentations
Identify and prepare business leaders for external speaking opportunities
Partner with Media Relations colleagues to achieve a positive narrative in the media and leverage program and partner news and milestones
Facilitate media interviews and ensure participants are prepared
Prepare and secure approvals for media statements/Q&As and talking points in partnership with the business leaders and Media Relations team
Partner with the Brand, Advertising and Events colleagues to develop and deliver effective assets and experiences as part of our communications campaigns
Plan, attend and leverage industry trade shows and events to deliver results in support of business objectives and as part of campaigns – including media, social media, customer testimonials and meetings with communications counterparts to build and advance relationships. Ensure CE products, services and technologies are favorably positioned at key trade shows and industry events
Partner with the Digital Communications team to design and deploy content in efforts to generate strong internal and external engagement
Develop relationships with Communications counterparts at customers and partners, as well as members of the media and third-party influencers to raise awareness of and advocacy for the advantages of CE products and services
Partner with Employee Communications colleagues to build employee engagement in support of business goals and wider internal communications objectives, including developing all-hands meetings, leader messages and organizational announcements
Identify and support CSR activities aligned to communications objectives
Coordinate closely with International Communications colleagues to support the reputation of CE Operations/Aftermarket globally
Travel approximately 10% to both domestic and international locations
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
Project Management & Leadership Skills: Previous experience in project management and leadership, showcasing organizational skills, attention to detail, interpersonal, influencing, and collaboration abilities
Communications Expertise: Proficient in crafting and executing written, oral, and electronic communications, particularly in virtual environments; experience delivering successful communication campaigns in global engineering/manufacturing organizations, ideally in aerospace or related industries
Multimedia Platform Experience: Skilled in leveraging traditional and non-traditional communication platforms, such as print, electronic, social media, video, and industry events
Qualifications & Personal Attributes: U.S. Person (as defined by 22 CFR 120.62), MBA/MS in Business Management or Communications, strategic thinker, self-starter with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
