Inside Sales Representative, Entry

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for handling parts sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and collaborating with various teams to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to customer parts inquiries and requests from Account Managers
Accurately process orders, create quotes, and ensure timely communication with customers
Develop and maintain customer accounts, promoting repeat business and addressing customers promptly
Actively participate in the Company’s safety programs and follow safety protocols
Enter customer orders and update as needed, coordinating with Supply Chain to meet delivery and packing requirements
Ensure timely updates on order status and proactively resolve issues with pricing, order fulfillment, or customer concerns
Monitor market trends and customers’ needs to recommend product alternatives that offer cost savings or better delivery options
Assist customers in identifying correct parts and provide technical support as needed
Communicate competitive market insights and customer feedback to management for strategic decision-making
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement new sales strategies aimed at improving customer service and increasing parts sales
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, inventory management, or procurement
Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Ability to interpret technical information and assist customers with part identification
Basic financial literacy and attention to detail
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks such as kneeling, standing, and walking for extended periods
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Supply Chain or related field preferred
Equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Knowledge of natural gas engines and compressors is strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems preferred
