Global Center for Health Security Project Manager I
The University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking a Global Center for Health Security Project Manager I to support the planning, implementing, and reporting on key project milestones. This role involves working with project teams and subject matter experts to define and track project metrics and conducting strategic task implementation to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities
Support the planning, implementing and reporting on key project and portfolio milestones for assigned projects
Work on projects with the Principal Investigator(s), capability leaders, project teams, and subject matter experts to define, source, and track outcomes-based metrics measured throughout the project
Conduct independent strategic task implementation
Bring together appropriate working groups of internal and external partners to achieve the goals of the project
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
2 years related project management experience with projects in excess of one million dollars
Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Office, Zoom Teleconferencing
This individual must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently to achieve departmental goals, deadlines, and desired outcomes/results (E)
Strong follow-up skills and ability to keep track of a long and complex to-do list in the face of tight deadlines and competing priorities (E)
Strong interpersonal skills professional relationship Management
Preferred
Master's degree or equivalent
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or closely related field
Experience with preparation of written documents and/or proofreading
Experience with leadership reports
Experience in an academic setting
Microsoft Excel
