As a Climate Specialist, you will support relationship managers in interacting with major financial institutions to position and explain climate solutions, while also achieving sales and retention targets across various financial segments.

Responsibilities
Serve as domain expert on MSCI Climate suite of products and master client objectives for integrating our solutions
Help to manage client inquiry and issue resolution process
Monitor and ensure client satisfaction through various projects or initiatives that support Specialist & Product teams
Achieve target sales and retention rates across financial segments, such as banks, insurance, asset management, or asset owners, etc
Drive revenue growth through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Identify and communicate up-sell opportunities to sales team
Build subject matter expertise in pre-sales/up-sell/training activities
Establish the ability to become a liaison between client and internal teams for key client initiatives and product developments
Qualification
Required
Experience and understanding of investing and financial services
Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills are critical
Innovative, motivated, client-oriented and commercially-aware thinker
Ability to manage projects and multitask independently
A team player able to effectively manage the expectations of a diverse and demanding client base
Absolute personal and business integrity
7+ years of experience, preferably in a client facing position in financial services or Sustainability
Bachelors required
Successful candidates will have exposure to Sustainable Investing, Climate Finance, or Finance and have interest in developing strong working relationships with external clients
