Responsibilities

Participates in establishing and defining program plans, including cost and/or schedule requirements
Conducts detailed analysis and assessments of project budget and plans to support execution within client procedures and government regulations
Interfaces with client points of contact and team leads to define work requirements, coordinate assignments and schedules, and provide quality reviews as requested
Identifies budget/financial problems and provides alternatives and recommendations to resolve them
Conducts quality control and quality assurance review of program documents prior to submission to management
May assist in developing Battelle program documentation including briefings, draft specifications, solicitations, Statements of Work (SOW), and other project execution documentation
Develops and conducts presentations on program status including budget formulation and execution, cost, and performance data
Contributes to program and task-related reports, briefings, justification and requests

Required

Requires a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or technical field; two years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field
Requires experience in technical program planning and implementation, contract interpretation, budget development and administration of government programs
Requires experience with government agencies likely to be supported
Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of operational users, technical developers and government program managers
Must have a background which would not preclude the granting of a government issued security clearance
Requires a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)/Defense Acquisition Regulations (DAR), the DoD 5000 series and other applicable government regulations
