Allied World offers an exciting summer internship opportunity for students currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. The IT Operations Intern will join Allied World’s Enterprise Architecture team and gain hands-on experience in IT operations within a strategic architecture environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining architecture repositories, updating documentation, and ensuring compliance with technology standards

Participate in tasks related to cloud platforms (Azure & AWS)

Support automation initiatives to optimize operational workflows

Collaborate with architects and operations teams on projects involving Business, Data, Application, and Technology (BDAT) domains

Prepare architecture diagrams and assist in Technical Architecture Committee review processes

Build Microsoft Copilot Agents and conduct R&D activities using Azure technologies

Contribute to existing Enterprise Architecture work products and help keep architectural documents current

Required

Undergraduate juniors or seniors

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field

Strong interest in enterprise architecture and cloud technologies

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools; basic knowledge of networking and security principles is a plus

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Programming knowledge in at least one language, such as React, C#, Python, or Node.js
