Responsibilities

Designing and developing mechanical components and systems for electronic hardware
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of mechanical components into electronic systems
Conducting testing and validation of mechanical components and systems
Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers
Participating in design reviews and contributing to the development of new designs and technologies

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree, with a minimum of three years of professional experience (or equivalent experience)
Aerospace Electronic Product Development Experience
Experience with mechanical CAD modeling and drafting
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance

Preferred

Experience designing mechanical aspects of aerospace electronic components (CATIA Preferred)
Working knowledge and experience applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Experience designing and documenting lab test equipment
Experience with Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design and evaluation
Experience in Cadence schematic capture, PCB layout Cadence Allegro
Experience maintaining electronic hardware library (Cadence)
Experience estimating
Familiarity with LM Aero processes, procedures, and tools
Functions well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment
