Senior LevelSoftgic is a technology company that seeks to make life easier through technology. They are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design and maintain scalable backend architectures, build secure backend services, and lead code reviews while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable, resilient backend architectures following best engineering practices
Build secure, high-performance, and reliable backend services, primarily in a microservices-oriented environment
Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote engineering best practices across the team
Drive automation, security, and observability initiatives across backend services
Lead the adoption of new technologies and the continuous optimization of CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to support the evolution of the product
Participate in strategic technical decisions related to system scalability and long-term architecture
Mentor and support the technical growth of junior and mid-level engineers
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in advanced backend development using Python, Node.js, Go, or Java
Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes
Proven experience defining backend architectures and technical standards
Strong understanding of API design (REST and/or GraphQL)
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in distributed systems
