Responsibilities

Be a key stakeholder on program teams in meeting contractual requirements and driving crucial quality related decisions for our customers
Represent Moog to support Customer & Government (DCMA) inspections, customer audits and requirements
Improve production by conducting QE studies, recommending design changes, and providing quality support to manufacturing personnel
Activities will include failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, customer & governmental interface, audit support configuration control, and traceability
Review and prepare End Item Data packs to provide to customer during either source inspections or shipment of hardware
Develop Quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, assembly & test processes, and final inspection
Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify root cause and corrective action
Improve cost for inspection and prevent cost due to failure through statistical analysis and problem solving

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent STEM
Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in Engineering or Manufacturing, 2 years of which must be in Quality Engineering in manufacturing
Proficiency with statistical, spreadsheet, and database software packages
