Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician for the RTC Test and Engineering Services Contract supporting the Army Division. The role involves conducting environmental testing, maintaining instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with testing standards.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team of technicians and operators to conduct environmental testing

Ensure that all instrumentation/test equipment is properly maintained and set up

Monitor tests and record data, using both manual and automated means, and perform data compliance and consistency checks

Ensure that simulated environments such as rain, salt, fog, high and low temperature, high and low humidity, altitude, etc. are properly calibrated and maintained

Ensure that all instrumentation/test equipment is properly maintained and set up

Monitor tests and record data, using both manual and automated means, and perform data compliance and consistency checks

Create documents that pertain to test failures and anomalies

Perform routine checks on equipment for visual issues or maintenance needs

Communicate with engineers, technicians, and customers to discover and develop requirements, with the goal of optimizing and improving current and future processes
