Responsibilities

Performing tests and validation of equipment, facilities, or plants to ensure compliance with design objectives and operational specifications
Installing and configuring Bently Nevada hardware and software for machine protection and monitoring
Responding to emergency repair requests and troubleshoot problematic equipment
Providing technical instruction and assistance to customers on installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance
Preparing technical reports, job status updates, material orders, quotations, and time/expense sheets
Communicating findings and recommendations clearly through reports and verbal communication
Maintaining calibration of specialized tools and adhere to standardized project processes and guidelines

Required

High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in instrumentation and/or process control (preferably in an industrial environment), OR bachelor's degree in engineering (Electronics, Chemical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Electrical) from an accredited college or university, OR Equivalent experience in instrumentation and/or process control
Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics or mechanical systems; knowledge of hardware, Modbus, OPC, networking, and serial communication protocols
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows OS
Ability to travel 65–80% of the time, including weekends as required; valid passport and driver's license required
Eligibility for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
