Responsibilities

Conduct reviews of varied types of loans, confirming compliance with investor and regulatory requirements
Conducts portfolio reviews and discretionary reviews to satisfy investor requirements
Confirms the U/W of mortgages according to the appropriate GSE, agency, secondary market or portfolio guidelines and corporation policy while maintaining a clear understanding of all product guidelines in order to determine if a loan was appropriately decisioned and documented
Confirms U/W of specialty loan program guidelines including CRA loan products, F.N.B.’s Private Banking and Employee Loans
Reviews TRID requirements on timing, accuracy, disclosures and all applicable regulation. Ensures compliance of files with all CFPB requirements. Identifies other regulatory concerns and investigates
Reviews individual mortgage files as per product specific guidelines to evaluate correctness. Understands a broad array of credit related information including repayment capacity, collateral valuations, credit histories, other banking relationships and regulatory impact in reviewing final credit decisions
Produces results of QC reviews and identifies trending issues or areas of improvement and reports through monthly trackers
Confirms all information for accuracy and completeness though validation of loan data against documentation provided
Confirms tax return analysis to develop the self-employed borrower’s income according to appropriate FNB or investor guideline and regulatory criteria
Confirms that more complex issues noted on the appraisal report regarding the condition of the property are adequately addressed
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned

Required

High School or GED
5 years of job related experience
Excellent project management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to use general office equipment
Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
MS Word - Basic Level
MS Excel - Intermediate Level
Detail-oriented
Must have at least 1 Government certification (FHA CHUMS number of VA SAR designation)

Preferred

Ability to use industry related software such as Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector, Clout, Zippy, eMagic, Mortgage Builder, easyLender, etc
