Responsibilities
Prepare accrual-based financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal management reporting requirements
Coordinate the preparation of financial reports for audits and liaise with external auditors to resolve findings and inquiries
Report on significant variances in financial reporting along with explanation
Strategic Financial Support: Provide financial analysis and recommendations to enhance financial performance and cost efficiency
Additional Duties: Support special projects and initiatives as directed by senior management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in accounting/financial leadership roles with small companies
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting
Experience with accrual method of accounting; cash flow management, and financial audits
Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with remote teams
