Senior Associate Director, Alumni Engagement

Responsibilities

Develops and implements a strategic vision for alumni engagement in the Midwest region, with a focus on Chicagoland, aligning with broader Chicago Booth and University goals
Builds and maintains strong relationships with alumni, identifying interests and cultivating engagement. Manages a portfolio of alumni volunteers, leveraging their expertise and passion and encouraging philanthropic support in addition to other types of engagement
Evaluates and prioritizes alumni with the capacity and affinity to make philanthropic gifts, ensuring a robust and well-vetted pipeline
Utilizes technology and social media platforms to enhance alumni communities, foster connections, and increase engagement
Organizes and executes high-quality events and programs that cater to alumni interests and drive engagement
Collaborates with internal and external partners, including Booth Admissions, Career Services, Student Services, the University Alumni Association, research centers, and other departments, to ensure alignment and maximize impact
Maintains accurate records of alumni interactions and engagement metrics. Utilizes data to inform decision-making and track progress toward goals
Assists in managing the US alumni engagement budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
Performs various administrative tasks, including supporting event planning, coordinating communications, and contributing to other projects as needed
Leads and coordinates the planning, organization, and management of events, programs, and services designed to cultivate and maintain ties between the University of Chicago and key constituent groups. Creates a marketing plan to maximize participation and engagement of alumni, parents, and friends
Leads strategic planning, data management, the creation and tracking of metrics, and the creation and implementation of new constituent relations programs worldwide. Measures, tracks, and reports participation and success of initiatives
Performs other related work as needed

Required

Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field
Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 7+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
