Administrative and Operations Assistant
Charleston Southern University is a Christian university, and they are seeking an Administrative and Operations Assistant to support the Chair of the Horton School of Music and Performing Arts. The role involves managing budget and payroll, coordinating events, maintaining student records, and assisting with recruitment and marketing activities.

Responsibilities
Complete administrative and operations functions to include, but not limited to, monitoring and assisting with expenditure processes, preparing monthly payroll, external and internal communications, reserving and preparing spaces for events, assembling and posting social media posts, communication with and coordination of recruits and auditions, ticketing and box office duties, supervise and coordinate student workers, recording and communicating actions of the faculty concerning program admission and progress, oversee operations to include mailing, electronic communications, and equipment schedules. Other duties as assigned. Some evening and weekend work required, in lieu of flexible hours

Applicants must be organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask efficiently and calmly is important
Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity is required
Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of standard software
Ability to quickly learn and work with new computer software systems
Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Bachelor's degree and prior experience preferred
Knowledge of music and theatre, and standard procedures in music organizations, is preferred
