Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end preparation, review, and filing of all SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and related disclosures), ensuring complete accuracy and timely submission
Lead cross-functional coordination with Investor Relations, Legal, FP&A, and external auditors to support high-quality filings and consistent external messaging
Monitor, research, and assess new accounting and SEC guidance, delivering clear technical memos and recommended positions
Perform technical accounting analyses for complex and non-routine transactions, ensuring proper documentation, conclusions, and implementation
Drive process improvements and automation to enhance reporting efficiency, data integrity, and disclosure quality
Provide coaching, review, and guidance to SEC reporting staff and cross-functional contributors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
1+ years of direct experience leading SEC filings and 5+ years total experience in SEC reporting (public company or public accounting)
Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) including XBRL tagging
Strong expertise in US GAAP with proven experience researching issues and drafting technical accounting memos
Thorough understanding of ASC 718 Stock-based compensation accounting
Demonstrated ability to manage strict reporting deadlines, communicate clearly with senior leaders, and coordinate inputs across multiple functions
