Responsibilities
Build, test, and ship full-stack features across GovWell’s platform — from intuitive resident-facing interfaces to scalable backend services that power government workflows
Collaborate closely with the Founding Designer and engineering teammates to translate customer needs into usable, high-impact product functionality
Take ownership of product areas end-to-end, ensuring features are reliable, maintainable, and performant in real-world government environments
Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and best practices that strengthen the team’s engineering culture and velocity
Use customer feedback and product data to iterate quickly, improving both resident experiences and government efficiency
Qualification
Required
3+ years of full-stack development experience building applications for enterprises and/or consumers
Experience owning large product areas + features end-to-end
Strong product mindset: love to ask questions and deeply understand customer problems
