Responsibilities
Reconciles daily batches
Deposit live checks daily, post and reconcile checks into the accounting system
Enter ACH, wire, and transfer requests into the accounting system
Balances receipts on individual batches daily
Reconcile VMS payments by utilizing appropriate portals
Effectively communicate payment discrepancies and issues with Operations & work with AR Collections to effectively clean up aging
In addition, work internally and externally to resolve client billing concerns
Monitor the accounts receivable balance and identify variance caused by overpayment or short pay
Ability to prepare audit trails when and if needed
Processes invoicing and adjustments as requested
Provide supporting documentation for cash adjudications audits as needed
Perform research related to cash transactions
Input and manage Accounts Payable
Input new Branches & Clients into the accounting software
Assist with monthly Journal and schedules, such as accruals, prepaids, daily transactions, etc
Any additional task that may need to be completed or requested
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience with Accounts Receivable collections and deposits
Problem-solving mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles
Exceptional math skills
Proficiency with computers, especially QuickBooks Enterprise and MS Excel
High level of efficiency and accuracy
Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations
Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience in Payroll, Staffing, or a related field
