Telecommunications Systems Technician II

The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Telecommunications Systems Technician II. This role involves responding to and resolving public safety communications issues for State Agency clients, while adhering to FCC regulations and maintaining effective communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

Responding to and resolving public safety communications problems for State Agency clients
Functionally report to the assigned shop lead as required
Utilizing complex test equipment, computers, hand tools, and technical literature
Communicate effectively on all written and verbal interactions
Maintain a professional and team-centered environment by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
Work proficiently with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Travel to and work in remote locations, high elevations, and inclement weather conditions may be required
