Responsibilities
Accurately write up orders in the computer system
Receive and put away items from incoming shipments
Prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
Identify and confirm shipment details against invoices, orders, and other records
Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record any shortages
Communicate with shippers and customers to resolve issues related to damages and shortages
Provide excellent customer service, including answering phones and assisting customers both in-person and via phone
Conduct customer sales and service transactions efficiently and professionally
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, adhering to prescribed safety regulations
Qualification
Required
The ability to work Monday through Friday full-time with additional hours as needed to meet customer demands
A high degree of integrity and accountability
Dependability, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Adaptability in using various technological systems and familiarity with data entry and record-keeping systems
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
Excellent skills in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook
Preferred
Bilingual proficiency preferred
Preferably prior experience in shipping & receiving operations in a warehouse, retail, etc. environment
