Responsibilities

Review expense and credit card reimbursement reports for accuracy and alignment with company policy for appropriate expense and coding designations
Review invoices for miscodes and correct
Apply consistent and impartial set of guidelines to expenses and invoices
Prepare internal schedules needed for account reconciliations; including accessing third party partners for data and reports necessary to prepare the reconciliation
Assist in document gathering and organization
Performs end-of-month procedures as required
May be asked to perform analytical processes or procedures
Preparation and posting of journal entries to accounting software
Operates standard office equipment to include: calculator, photocopy machine, facsimile machine, computer, printer and multi-line telephone
Performs other related duties as assigned
Maintain data privacy and confidentiality
Contribute to team success by achieving due dates and team goals

Required

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED
Ideally should be enrolled in a secondary program leading to a bachelor's degree in accounting or similar degree program
Strong verbal communications skills, ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge in clerical functions and computer literacy
Must have knowledge of office machines and equipment
Proficiency in MS Excel is preferred
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand; walk and talk, read or hear
Frequent use of all office related equipment to include; copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator
