Responsibilities
Manage a multidisciplinary team of 12‑14 engineers and technicians who perform in‑process testing and sub‑assembly verification across our product lines
Use a 'player-coach' model to guide and mentor employees in all technical aspects of their assignments
Evaluate current and future employees on their skill level
Strategic planning
Resource allocation
Hiring and training
Budget management
Delivering regular status updates to cross‑functional project stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, computer engineering, systems or industrial engineering or equivalent technical degree
Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience or project management experience with 5+ years of professional experience in engineering or related discipline
Experience with hardware debug and troubleshooting, performing root cause analysis
Demonstrated strong communication skills including interpersonal communication and team communication, self-driven, and self-starter
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance after start of employment. Obtaining a security clearance requires US Citizenship
Preferred
Master's degree
Experience with RF technology and equipment for test execution
Test automation, test software development
Lean 6-Sigma, Green Belt certification
