They are seeking a highly-motivated student to join their Environmental Services Group as an intern, assisting technical staff on various projects and gaining valuable experience in the field.

Responsibilities

Our interns will assist technical staff on day-to-day projects

Read and review project drawings and plans

Confer with engineers about preparing plans

Use AutoCAD software under the charge of Engineers

Evaluate pre-construction field conditions

Observe project sites and evaluate contractors’ work to detect problems with a design

Prepare reports and document project activities and data

Prepare analyses from collected data

Set up and help maintain project files and records

In addition to the work-centered program, we also offer robust internship programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related program

Must have reliable transportation to the office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Possess solid problem-solving skills

Must be able to work in a high-paced environment

A valid driver's license and good driving record required

Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions

Preferred

Basic understanding of AutoCAD preferred
