Responsibilities

Develop cost-effective manufacturing methods and processes within the aerospace industry
Take the lead on various projects while guiding technicians and operatives within the machine shop
Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods
Create crucial process documentation
Design efficient layouts for workspaces and equipment
Collaborate with planning and design staff to ensure efficient production methods
Communicate with vendors to align on product specifications and procure necessary materials
Estimate production times and staffing needs, providing vital information for management decisions
Apply statistical methods to predict future manufacturing requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

Solid foundation in mathematical concepts, including probability, statistics, and geometry
Demonstrate creativity and ingenuity in applying engineering principles
Proficient in tools like MS Office and SolidWorks
Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in real-world scenarios
