Legal Practice Assistant
Foster Garvey PC, a national law firm, is looking for a Legal Practice Assistant to support their Business Practice. The role involves providing administrative support to attorneys and clients, managing schedules, and ensuring efficient operations within the firm.

Responsibilities
Run conflict checks through Intapp Open
Draft and prepare engagement letters and waivers
Perform administrative duties, including scheduling and preparing legal correspondence
Manage attorney CLE requirements, including enrollment, tracking, and recording
Process expense reimbursements via Chrome River
Coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys
Maintain attorney calendars in Outlook
Schedule meetings and reserve conference rooms
Prepare, format, proofread, and revise documents and correspondence
Assist in reviewing and finalizing attorney pre-bills
Provide in-person support for scanning and copying projects
Manage document execution workflow through Docusign, including preparation, tracking, and follow-up
Other duties or projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with common transactional and corporate terms, procedures, and protocols (i.e., contracts and agreements)
Broad computer knowledge, skills, and proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet browsers (Chrome and Firefox), and other compatible and related software
Ability to effectively and accurately present information and respond to questions from attorneys, clients, and employees
Ability to prioritize issues and workload, as well as anticipate projects that need to be completed
Commitment to excellent customer service
Act as a liaison between the attorneys and other departments of the Firm
Establish effective working relationships and appropriately interact with others and provide backup support as needed
Observe attorney-client confidentiality
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in a legal or professional services organization, or high school diploma and 5-7 years of experience in a legal or professional services organization, or equivalent experience
Preferred
Prior experience with liquor licensing and other liquor-related matters is a plus
Legal secretary or paralegal certificate is preferred
