Responsibilities
Perform membrane (RO/NF, MF/UF) and filter dissections
Collect and analyse samples of membrane and foulants to identify chemical composition
Conduct various tests to evaluate membrane integrity and performance on lab-scale and full-scale membrane systems
Maintain database for sample reception and services completed
Box and palletize membrane elements for shipping
Perform cleaning studies to determine the efficacy of various cleaning solutions, salt/chemical solution mixing, and water analysis in a wet lab setting
Assist in writing and presenting technical documents
Support in other laboratory functions
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of associate's degree in chemistry, engineering, or similar is required
Previous water/wet laboratory or chemical handling related experience (1-2 years) required
Excellent hands-on skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Able to regularly lift up to 50lbs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Follow SOPs and safety guidelines
Preferred
Experience in collecting and analyzing data obtained from FTIR, SEM, EDX, and XPS techniques
Basic understanding of RO processes and membrane-based water treatment systems
Forklift certification
