Workday Reporting and Analytics Manager
Cognizant is seeking a Workday Reporting and Analytics Manager who will provide expert advice and guidance to the Reporting and Analytics team while managing a team of consultants. Responsibilities
Oversight responsibility for Workday Reporting projects across the practice
Oversee and assist engagement/project managers and team members when needed to identify project needs, reduce risk, and develop solutions and strategies
Support team interest in the sales pursuit process for Workday reporting
Identify scope and provide estimates for new projects or tasks
Provide meaningful input on potential solutions to solve complex requirements
Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications
Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment
Lead and manage a team of reporting consultants to ensure the team is following the activities, processes, and procedures outlined in Workday’s and Collaborative’s Implementation Methodology
Drive team and individuals to achieve high client satisfaction levels
Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals through influence
Ability to build trust-based relationship and identify and foster development opportunities
Support internal projects to drive innovation and improve delivery execution
Serve as a mentor and coach for direct reports as well as others across the team
Analyze skillsets and promote new opportunities for additional development in support of staffing projects and driving personal achievement for consultants
Advise leadership team on team members’ level of expertise, availability, and potential
Solicit performance feedback from clients and project management for your team
Prepare an assessment of key performance areas in alignment with company values and objectives
Provide guidance on development items during the bi-annual review process
Manage the pursuit of internal contribution initiatives and customer satisfaction objectives for consulting team. Direct the collection of all internal contributions for team members assuring data is received by HR on a quarterly basis
Drive bi-annual performance review process for the consulting team
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3-5 years of Workday HCM, Financials and/or Student Consulting implementation experience with a focus on reporting and analytics tools
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Proven experience leading a virtual team for 2+ years
Required consulting characteristics: fast learner, detail-oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast paced work environments
Required management characteristics: develop new relationships, cultivate growth in others, understand motivations, identify development opportunities, provide practice leadership, execute effective management techniques that support the success of the practice and your consultants
Must work well within and across teams to get things accomplished
Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects
Minimal travel required, but must be willing to travel on-site if needed
