Responsibilities

Compile datasets of material properties
Apply data analytic techniques
Develop and evaluate machine learning models
Assist in writing research manuscripts
Conduct work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Present results at meetings or conferences

Required

Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited related undergraduate program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer
Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship

Preferred

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience with machine learning or related artificial intelligence methods
Working knowledge of computer programming, scripting, and workflows for large data sets
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a teaming environment
