C2I Engineering Technician

Responsibilities
Provide technical support for the evaluation and correction of fleet system/equipment casualties and provide technical assistance on mechanical/electrical/electronic Combat Systems casualty repairs IAW the prescribed Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and fleet requirements
Provide technical assistance for Command, Control and Intelligence (C2I) systems and associated equipment to include problem analysis, troubleshooting, isolation, correction and checkout testing to provide a clear path for resolution returning the mechanical/electrical/electronic Combat Systems and related equipment to full operational condition
May be directed to perform tasks on board USN ships in-port or at sea at various Government and commercial shore facilities both in and out of the Continental United States (CONUS/OCONUS)

Qualification
Required
An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
HS Diploma required
DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification is required (or higher-level equivalent)
CompTIA A+, CCNA-Security, CND, CompTIA Network+, etc
Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator
At least five (5) years of experience providing technical support and repair services to C2I systems and equipment supporting a DoD program
Must possess a working knowledge of Maintenance and Material Management (3M) procedures
Experience in a combination of applicable mechanical, electronic, and electrical disciplines assess and provide oversight of the repair of C2I systems
Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Must possess strong time management skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
Travel Required 10% travel required domestic and international
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time
Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking
The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds
The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, or recurring and considerable walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and climbing such as performing regular shop activities, inspections, or to observe and study operations in an industrial or comparable work area or on-board submarines and in weapon facilities
