Zurich Insurance is launching its innovative General Insurance Apprentice Program, allowing participants to gain their first-time higher education while working in commercial insurance. Apprentices will support the Underwriting Services - Processing Team with various tasks including verifying producer appointments and preparing insurance documents.

Responsibilities

Verifying producer appointment and licensing requirements

Communicating with members of the underwriting teams and other external customers

Research and resolving issues within producer appointment and licensing

Regulatory Notices preparation and creation

Review and preparation of loss run requests

Review and preparation of insurance documents and Auto ID Cards validation / preparation

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be enrolled and validated as college ready by Harper Community College Admissions. This is a separate application process that can take place concurrently to Zurich's application process

Preferred

1 or more years of work experience and/or leadership role in student activities and/or significant voluntary community service

Interest in pursuing a career in the insurance industry
