Outside Sales Account Manager-Ohio/Kentucky

Vantage Apparel is the largest apparel decorator in North America, seeking a motivated Outside Sales professional to drive new sales growth throughout Ohio and Kentucky. The role involves developing and expanding profitable sales and business relationships, engaging with customers through various platforms, and managing sales support activities.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the promotional products and/or apparel industry, with a track record of success in sales roles
Demonstrate expertise in presenting and quoting products, including apparel lines, decoration techniques, proprietary styles, wholesale and prestige brands, private label items, and custom designs
Apply in-depth knowledge of print-on-demand, integrations, and webstore platforms to identify partnership opportunities
Conduct professional, consultative sales meetings to develop solutions, negotiate pricing and services, or resolve conflicts
Maintain and grow business relationships with existing customers while identifying and cultivating new prospects, primarily focusing on promotional product distributors in the Ohio/Kentucky territory
Travel overnight within and outside the assigned territory, including other regions as needed for training, meetings, events, or customer support, adhering to current pandemic-related restrictions
Work independently to achieve objectives while collaborating effectively in virtual team environments to support company and customer goals
Exhibit creativity, positivity, and a proven ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts successfully

Required

Demonstrates strong teamwork and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels, both within and outside the organization, to achieve broader goals
Possesses excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
Exhibits outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Maintains a high level of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with customers, peers, and management
Understands the assigned geographical territory and is willing to travel up to 75% as required
Maintains ongoing, reliable access to independent transportation
Demonstrates the ability to communicate creative solutions confidently, clearly, and effectively
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business Development or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in sales
Demonstrated high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Preferred

Knowledge of the promotional products industry, including its business model, pricing structures, key companies, and professionals
Familiarity with the apparel and/or decorated apparel sectors, including Vantage Apparel's product lines and services
Experience with ZOHO CRM
