Responsibilities
Provide project level leadership to ensure successful execution of program plans and accomplishment of engineering department goals
Guide teams performing research, development, and consulting assignments of a professional technical nature where extensive and diversified knowledge of hardware engineering principles and practices are necessary to successfully accomplish objectives
Possesses solid technical leadership practices for multi-disciplinary engineering teams engaged in the design and development of state-of-the-art electro-mechanical products
Proven experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and productivity metrics to ensure efficient team performance
Experience implementing an established Hardware Engineering design processes to achieve product quality and consistency
Possesses sound interpersonal communication skills involving interfacing with company personnel, customers, and suppliers
Experience supporting new business capture and proposal teams with development of hardware engineering cost/schedule estimates
Capable of exercising independent discretion and judgment in the performance of engineering duties
Capable of utilizing computer skills to prepare appropriate reports, documents, and presentations for internal/external distribution
Ability to develop and implement design solutions, processes, and systems within budget and schedule requirements
Experience with design and develop of products and services using state-of-the-art engineering technologies, principles, theories and concepts
Qualification
Required
BSEE or BSME with 10+ years and commensurate experience leading engineering teams
