Responsibilities
Sell personal training packages and memberships, consistently meeting and exceeding monthly revenue targets
Run consultative sales appointments focused on needs analysis and emotional connection, achieving at a minimum 50%+ close rate
Own the entire sales funnel — lead generation, appointment setting, follow-up, and closing
Implement scripts, objection handling, and follow-up strategies that maximize conversion
Train and mentor trainers and front desk staff on sales psychology, presentation, and follow-up techniques
Lead from the front — set the standard for professionalism, energy, and accountability
Host daily or weekly huddles to review metrics, motivate the team, and reinforce closing strategies
Partner with ownership to build and execute local lead generation campaigns
Manage outreach to local businesses to grow brand awareness
Use social media, referral programs, and community events to fill your pipeline
Track, analyze, and report KPIs: leads, appointments, closes, and average package size
Collaborate with ownership on pricing, promotions, and sales strategy
Maintain accurate records in the CRM to ensure every lead is nurtured and followed up with
Qualification
Required
3+ years of fitness sales experience with a proven record of selling high-ticket personal training packages
Background in fitness — understands the mindset, motivation, and value of coaching
Confident, driven, and resilient — loves the chase and the close
Experienced in using gym management or CRM software (MindBody, ClubReady, ZenPlanner, etc.)
Excellent communicator who can inspire action and build long-term relationships
Organized, accountable, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
