Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on GE/CFM aircraft engines to the highest standards of safety and quality
Partner closely with the planning team and CVG inspectors to execute business priorities and meet delivery commitments
Interpret and follow the applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manual and Engine Shop Manual procedures with precision
Apply strong working knowledge of Quality Procedures and FAA/EASA Part 145 requirements; operate in compliance with the Repair Station and Quality Control Manual and all applicable regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work area; perform supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as needed
Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects—plan, execute, and follow through to completion with accountability
Work second shift as your regular assignment with the potential to support the field
Complete initial training on first shift for your first 6 months

Required

Minimum High School diploma / GED
Federal Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic (A&P) license required

Preferred

Large commercial engine repair: Minimum 6+ months hands-on experience; prior GE On Wing Support co-op/internship a plus
Product expertise: Experience on LEAP, GE90, CFM56, CF6, CF34, and/or GEnx platforms
Line and module work: Proven capability in line maintenance, engine changes, module removal/installation, and LRU R&I with proper tooling and torque control
Problem solving and communication: Strong diagnostic mindset, clear communicator across shifts and functions; escalates early to protect safety and quality
Growth mindset: Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability to new tools and technology; committed to continuous learning
Quality and compliance: Track record meeting first-pass quality and minimizing escapes; works to FAA/EASA Part 145 and internal Quality Procedures
Customer focus: Delivers to plan, supports quick-turn commitments, and represents the team professionally on- and off-wing
NDT proficiency: Level II experience in Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection preferred
