The Senior AV Support Services Technician is responsible for supporting the installation team in the deployment, maintenance, and repair of audio/visual equipment in client offices, events, and lab environments.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment in client offices and external event locations

Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance

Troubleshoot and repair AV equipment as needed

Provide on-site AV support for events, including setup, operation, and breakdown

Assist presenters with technical aspects of their presentations

Coordinate and book travel arrangements for assigned events

Manage and prioritize support tickets for custom lab projects

Provide timely updates and maintain clear communication with stakeholders

Interact with clients in a professional and technically proficient manner

Address client inquiries and concerns regarding AV equipment and services

Request, order, and track inventory of AV equipment

Manage shipping and logistics for equipment deliveries and returns

Maintain accurate records and update documentation, SOPs, and data collection sheets

Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations

Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab spaces

Stay informed about client-specific platform and product solutions

Lift and handle equipment within OSHA weight requirements

Complete required training in construction safety, OSHA, lab procedures, and company standards

Required

5-10 years' experience in corporate onsite AV support

Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment and systems

Experience in event setup and support

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Familiarity with Google products and platforms is a plus

Ability to lift and handle equipment within OSHA weight requirements

Willingness to travel for events and deployments

Preferred

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in AV deployment and maintenance
