They are seeking a motivated intern to conduct research in Human Robot Interaction, developing software that integrates generative AI capabilities to enhance user experiences with robotics.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with industrial researchers focusing on real-world applications in automated manufacturing

Develop agentic AI software to build innovative user experiences for robotics

Advance state-of-the-art of HRI, robotics, and AI by evaluating innovative agentic interfaces for robotics

Improve user pain points by analyzing current workflows and identifying novel ways to improve them

Contribute towards the development of our robotics software platform, Flowstate

Qualification

Programming robotic applicationsAgentic systems developmentPython proficiencyPh.D. in Computer ScienceProblem-solving enthusiasm

Required

Ph.D. student in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field

Hands on experience with programming robotic applications, having worked with physical hardware is a plus

Experience working with and building agentic systems and interactions

Knowledge and proficiency in Python and general software development

Enthusiasm for solving challenging real-world problems in HRI, robotics, and AI
