Responsibilities
Migrate API settings and configs used to process disparate data sets
Migrate proxies, shared flows, reports, monitors, users, customers, and custom configs
Volume and performance testing experience. Experience with PERF and INT load tests with both simulators and host systems integrations
Identify technical challenges and communicate obstacles and risks
Execute complex technical tasks in a straightforward and efficient way
Qualification
Required
8 years of relevant IT experience and 3 years of experience with Java coding
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, related discipline or significant industry experience
Direct technical hands-on experience on at least one migration to Apigee X through full project lifecycle from prior Apigee version
Excellent coding skills with expertise in Java, REST APIs, SQL, and micro-services
Experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee X, Google Cloud (GCP), MySQL, Big Query, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Anthos
Experience with development & operations in cloud native technologies (GCP required)
Broad knowledge of open-source libraries & packages
Well versed with big data concepts and data engineering principles or techniques
Excellent communication and organization skills
Fluent written and spoken English
Must have a go-getter attitude and a willingness to pick up new technologies, data migration tools/techniques, and programming languages
Must be a team player and open to learning as well as sharing knowledge with others
Preferred
Direct technical hands-on experience on 2-3 Apigee X migrations from prior Apigee version across the full project lifecycle
Delivered migration projects within a preferred Google service provider
Working knowledge of Python, Java, React.JS & Angular.JS
Professional certifications
Knowledge of Cloud architecture, networking and protocols
Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
