New Grad, Entry LevelABF Security is currently looking for a part-time AutoCAD Draftsman. This position will include creating drawings for low voltage electrical systems including Burglary, Fire, Access Control and CCTV Systems for commercial properties.
Security & Investigations
Responsibilities
Produce system installation drawings including floor plans, riser diagrams, system diagrams and layouts using manual drawing techniques, PC based CAD system (AUTOCAD) and/or Bluebeam
Assemble operation and maintenance manuals and systems documentation for systems owners
Prepare system drawings per specifications and plans supplied
Maintain project drawing files, associated records, documentation tracking and as-built drawings
Performs other related document and drawings as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Technical degree in Drafting
Must be proficient using Windows based software and the Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to work with blueprints: architectural, electrical, structural and site plans
Must be self-motivated as well as thrive being part of a high energy, goal oriented team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to pass an extensive background and drug test
