Responsibilities
Design and maintain Usul’s core platform using Python, React, and NextJS
Build, deploy, and refine AI Agents and LLM-driven workflows to interpret complex government procurement data
Develop robust pipelines to ingest, clean, and make sense of massive, unstructured government datasets
Talk directly to defense tech leaders and contractors to present your work, take 'roasts' or direct feedback, and pivot quickly based on user needs
Help set the engineering standards, culture, and technical roadmap for a company in a hyper-growth phase
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
Highly proficient with Python (backend) and React/NextJS (frontend)
Experience building and orchestrating AI Agents
Genuine passion for solving problems within the national security and defense space
Confidence to present work to customers and humility to iterate when challenged
Ready to work in-person 5 days a week in our San Francisco office
