Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
Strong expertise in: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
Event-driven architecture
Front-end frameworks: Angular and React
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Project Management (e.g., PMP, CSM)
Experience in the financial services industry
