Responsibilities

Communicate with Restaurant Reservations regarding special orders, cake orders, and requests, conveying all necessary information to management

Maintain knowledge of daily activities, in-house groups, house count, table assignments, room capacity, hours of operation, price range, and dress code

Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant and manage the reservation book, keeping an accurate count of reservations

Ensure menus are current and in good condition by replacing poor-quality menus and updating inserts as needed

Relay guest needs to the kitchen and management, and inform management of guest feedback to ensure smooth operations and quality service

Frequently check on guests waiting to be seated to provide reassurance that their tables are being prepared

Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas, and handle the podium and phone forwarding at the end of shifts

Preferred

2+ Years of prior dining host experience in a restaurant is preferred

Willing and able to work Part-time on Tuesdays-Thursdays from 3:30pm-10:15pm and Fridays-Saturdays from 3:30pm-11:15pm
