Business Development Officer
FVCbank is a financial institution seeking a Business Development Officer to attract new business and expand existing relationships. The role involves making calls to clients, arranging meetings, and promoting the bank's image within the community.

Responsibilities
Makes retention and business development calls on existing and potential new clients
Establishes priorities and prepares itineraries
Documents calls and makes weekly call reports to supervisor
Discuss client needs, problems or complaints with senior managers
Arranges meetings between clients or prospective clients and appropriate financial institution representatives
Reviews lists, records, newspapers, etc., for business development leads
Represents the financial institution in various civic and community functions to enhance its image and develop new business
Promotes favorable image of the financial institution in all business activities within the community
Assists in product and service development to ensure customer satisfaction and financial institution profitability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field OR work experience equivalent to job requirements
2 years work experience in the banking or financial industry
Basic understanding of financial institution policies and procedures
Good communication, sales experience and public relation skills
Excellent interviewing and researching skills
Excellent multi-tasking skills and business writing skills
Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time
Must be able to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
Ability to converse and exchange information with all levels of staff within the organization
Ability to observe, perceive, and identify data
Ability to travel via air, rail, automobile, and/or bus
Preferred
Sales or marketing experience with a diverse customer profile
