Responsibilities

Conduct risk, issue and opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization
Ensure program team understands and adheres to contract scope and manages change through control board activities
Adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools
Cultivate customer relationships and intimacy to develop future opportunities within the customer community
Leading cross-function Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives
Managing suppliers to meet program and customer objectives
Drive common process improvements within scope of business to improve supplier and program performance

Required

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience supporting US Government contracts and/or customers in a project/technical lead role; OR a Master's degree and 6 years' relevant experience
Minimum of 2-3 years professional and/or military experience in technical project management, program management, business management, global supply chain, and engineering through documented work history
Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and schedule development tools to develop cost and schedule baselines, track cost/schedule performance, etc
Demonstrated experience leading/managing production programs and teams
US citizenship is required
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD secret security level clearance

Preferred

Active DoD secret security level clearance
Demonstrated technical experience in the field of test and qualification efforts
Demonstrated experience interfacing with external customers
Demonstrated experience managing suppliers and/or subcontracts
Demonstrated experience with radar systems
Demonstrated understanding of technical, cost and schedule impacts on a program
Ability to apply knowledge of business and financial concepts to the benefit of program decisions and performance
Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
