Acoustic Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities
Technical responsibility for the acoustic performance of exhaust aftertreatment systems
Regular collaboration with silencer suppliers to design integrated and competitive systems
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Act as global acoustic expert for internal teams and external customers
Technical support of sales, project management, purchasing, quality, and service
Initiate and manage development projects and actively participate in project teams
Contribute to product development and product standardization efforts
Support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis/ Hazard and Operability analysis
Qualification
Required
Successfully completed degree in system/ mechanical engineering or comparable
At least 5 years of relevant acoustic engineering experience, preferably in the field of exhaust systems
Relevant experience in performing acoustic measurements
High degree of autonomy and reliability
Strong analytical thinking, teamwork and communication skills
Hands-on mentality and a structured and methodical way of working
Preferred
Knowledge about exhaust gas aftertreatment and combustion engines is an advantage
