Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate action is taken from requests assigned
Ensure the completion of proper parts identification and ordering
Communicate effectively with Project team members including, Engineering, Project Management and IMS
Set and maintain a certain standard of excellence for your quality of work
Set daily goals and ensure follow-through
Resolve issues encountered with use of engineering tools and resources
Have strong understanding of circuit breakers, transformers, UPS systems and control systems
Have excellent practical skills with hand tools and power tools
Have a methodical approach to work and the ability to make accurate measurements
Committed to keeping up with industry developments and to work to a schedule with planned deadlines
Have strong industrial application experience
Work as a team member or alone to complete projects
Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes
Make decisions based on technical documents / E-drawings and adhere to Strick guidelines
Qualification
Required
4 years of technical experience with electrical systems or electrical certificate
Knowledge of low voltage switchboard / switchgear design, installation, and use
Knowledge of local, state, & federal codes governing the installation and use of low voltage switchboards/switchgear
Working knowledge in Autodesk suite of Engineering software including AutoCAD and Revit
Proven experience with Microsoft Office Applications
Experience reading and interpreting electrical construction drawings and equipment specifications
Interpreting customer specification requirements
Ability to think outside the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce costs with no impact on quality, reliability or maintainability
Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must be detail oriented
Proven problem-solving skills
High School Diploma or GED
