Responsibilities
Supervise night shift Sterile Processing staff, including regular, on-call, and float team members
Provide hands-on clinical support while managing workflows and daily operations
Oversee sterile processing processes, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance efforts
Manage supplies and resources in collaboration with Purchasing
Support and evaluate sterile processing information systems in partnership with Information Services
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technology and equipment
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards
Foster a collaborative, accountable team environment focused on quality and patient safety
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience in an acute care or hospital setting
One of the following certifications required upon hire: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - HSPA, Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) - HSPA, Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) - HSPA
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, workflows, and quality standards
Strong working knowledge of sterile processing regulations, best practices, and compliance standards
Ability to work full-time night shift and provide hands-on clinical support as needed
Preferred
Prior supervisory or leadership experience in Sterile Processing
Working knowledge of Joint Commission and state regulations
Strong interdepartmental communication and collaboration skills
