Responsibilities
The MLT will ordinarily be assigned to regular, routine laboratory work in various divisions of the lab. Specific assignments may be changed as necessitated by varying workloads
Performs assigned work promptly and accurately. Uses appropriate quality control and make sure QC criteria are met before releasing reports
Keeps work area clean and neat at all times
Qualification
Required
Must be registered or eligible as an MLT, CLT (ASCP), or MLT (AMT), and/or HHS certified and qualify as general supervisors as outlined in CLIA regulations, or individuals with equivalent training, preferably with practical experience in general laboratory work
Certification required within 1 year of hire
