Responsibilities

Developing and implementing short- and long-term real estate strategies for the Microsoft Puget Sound portfolio
Overseeing the future real estate plan for the Redmond campus and preserving development rights, land use flexibility, and leasehold opportunities
Transaction Management and financial modeling
Evaluate internal and external land use requests, applying urban planning concepts such as urban design, sustainability, accessibility and inclusiveness, resilience, and development economics, reflecting Microsoft’s priorities
Setting and implementing clear goals for project teams, measuring performance and seeking and delivering feedback to achieve quality, timely results
Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Becoming familiar with business financial cycles and understanding business strategy, organization, and needs that depend on the delivery of real estate solutions
Driving action and decisions, supported by analytical rigor and data, among stakeholders by utilizing and facilitating an awareness of business needs and priorities at multiple levels within the company. Proactively engage to solve problems and balance specific business needs with the broader Microsoft interests and the Puget Sound portfolio
Engage and negotiate with public agency staff and officials to achieve positive outcomes for Microsoft initiatives and project submittals
Knowledge of corporate real estate best practices

Required
