Responsibilities

Manage deployments, hotfixes, SSL/TLS certificate renewals, and patching schedules (WSUS/SCCM) for datacenter and cloud
Ensure compliance (RBAC, encryption, Active Directory/GPO, secrets management, least privilege)
Collaborate with DevOps/AppDev, Platform/Infra, Network, DBA teams on configuration/code‑level changes (web.config, registry, connection strings)
Contribute to architecture for scalability, resiliency, and HA/DR (VM clustering, F5/ADC load balancing, blue/green/canary)
Support CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions/Jenkins) for Windows/IIS deployments; optimize rollbacks and artifact validation
Provide clear status, documentation for incidents, changes (ServiceNow/CAB), preventive actions, and post‑mortems

Required

6+ experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration and IIS (sites, app pools, bindings) with ability to perform root cause analysis for complex Windows/IIS issues (e.g., memory leaks, network timeouts)
6+ years of experience with monitoring and log analytics tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, Azure Monitor, Windows Event Logs/PerfMon
6+ years of experience with load balancers/WAF/DNS/reverse proxy (e.g., F5/ADC), TCP/IP, HTTP/S, TLS
6+ years of experience in managing deployments, hotfixes, SSL/TLS certificate renewals, and patching schedules (WSUS/SCCM) as well as coordinating release/change management processes (ServiceNow/CAB)
6+ years of experience in PowerShell scripting and automation frameworks (DSC, Ansible)
6+ years of experience in Azure environments and related operational tasks
6+ years of experience incident and problem management, including leading P1/P2 bridges and driving multi-team resolution as well as Active Directory/GPO, service accounts, PKI/certificate management
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience

Preferred

Azure Administrator or Architect certifications
ITIL, Dynatrace, Splunk, Windows Server/IIS certifications
Programming experience in .NET (C#); familiarity with Java/Angular
Exposure to VMware/Hyper-V, backup/restore tools (Veeam/Commvault), DR/BCP strategies
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
